Tyler Furrer: About

Tyler Furrer is a guitarist from Wisconsin who also sings and works as a utility player, covering steel guitar, banjo, mandolin and bass when the job calls for it. He's spent years playing the honky tonks on Broadway in Nashville, and has played shows all over the country, from New York to Las Vegas.

Along the way he's backed more artists than he can count and opened for Brantley Gilbert, Parker McCollum, Chase Matthew, Hot Chelle Rae and Clay Street Unit. He's also shared the stage with Jimmy Sturr and played festivals such as Summerfest, the Wisconsin State Fair, the Hodag Country Festival and Mile of Music.

He's toured with Mollie B & SqueezeBox, the band behind RFD-TV's Mollie B Polka Party, and played guitar and banjo on Listening Party's album High & Low. Today he plays honky tonk country, bluegrass, americana, jazz and rock with a range of artists and bands, on the road and in the studio.
